Adrienne Marshall, MS, LMFT
Adrienne’s want to serve others has been with her for most of her life, wanting to be a therapist for as long as she can remember. It always seemed like the greatest privilege one could have in their life, to walk through the difficult times and be a source of support and encouragement, aiding them in getting through that storm. Adrienne began this journey towards helping others by getting her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. Since graduating in 2014, she has obtained her Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate license and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, from private practice to a behavioral health hospital and has experience working with clients with various backgrounds and presenting difficulties.
Adrienne’s training and experience has equipped her to work in individual counseling with adolescents and adults, couple/marital therapy, and family therapy. Adrienne works from a systemic framework, meaning that everyone influencing, and influenced by, everyone else. In therapy, Adrienne works to incorporate your family, friends, job, and various social settings to take a holistic, all encompassing approach to your treatment. Adrienne is able to address concerns with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life changes/transitions, and marital/family discord, and a variety of couple-focused difficulties (such as affairs, emotional distance, difficulties communicating, etc.).
Adrienne’s number one hope is to create a welcoming, self, relaxed environment that allows each of her clients to feel supported, encouraged, and, ultimately, challenged to grow in the areas they are hopeful to improve. This is done through collaboration with one another, Adrienne believes each client has innate strengths that simply need to be uncovered.
