Jacqueline “Jayde” Young, MS, LPC, RPT

Jayde began her work of helping others after working as an Applied Behavioral Analysis therapist for 3 years and as a Counselor in homes, schools, private practice, and clinical settings in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults along with extensive work with children and teens diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Jayde has a passion working with those struggling with transitions and those who are in need in any manner and at any age.

She has training and experience in play therapy, group play therapy, filial therapy, group counseling, sandtray, activity therapy, career counseling, and individual counseling. Jayde’s approach to counseling is through a Person Centered lens, this means she trusts you are the expert on yourself and works to see the world as you view it. By building a strong working relationship it is Jayde’s goal to help you sort out things that have you feeling off, allowing you to feel more congruent.

Jayde holds her Master’s Degree in Counseling and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist in the state of Texas.
